Back-End Developer

What We’re Looking For

Technical Qualifications

• Python 3.10+: 1–2 years building production-ready backends; strong typing skills.

• Django 4/5: Expert in ORM, signals, middleware, admin customization.

• Django REST Framework: Skilled in secure API design, throttling, viewsets, versioning.

• Frontend Acumen: Familiar with either React (Next.js 14, Tailwind) or Django-HTMX.

• Data & DevOps: PostgreSQL 15+, Redis, Docker, Terraform or Pulumi, CI/CD setup.

• Async Processing: Celery (or Dramatiq/RQ), scheduled jobs, retries.

• Security & Compliance: OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, GDPR & UAE PDPL awareness, OWASP Top 10.

• Testing: Pytest, Factory Boy, Playwright or Cypress.

Soft Skills

• Product-minded: can translate real-world logic into clean, efficient code.

• Communicates well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Thrives in early-stage, high-autonomy environments.

• Eager to mentor and build a collaborative engineering culture.
