Back-End Developer

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python/Django
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver features users love
• Optimize performance and scalability for high-traffic systems
• Manage databases, write efficient queries, and plan data models
• Maintain high code quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous integration
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help shape backend best practices

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of experience building web applications with Python and Django
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend best practices
• Strong SQL/database skills (PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and working in agile environments
• Experience writing tests and maintaining high code quality
• A problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Django REST Framework
• Familiarity with asynchronous tasks (Celery, Redis)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment ( AWS, Digital Ocean.)
• Understanding of system design, caching strategies, and performance optimization
• Open-source contributions or technical blog posts
