Job Title: Painter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Painter to handle a variety of painting tasks for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in surface preparation, paint application, finishing techniques, and a solid understanding of safety procedures and material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks

• Apply paint, varnish, primer, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment

• Mix and match paint colors to ensure uniform appearance

• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect areas from paint splatter

• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

• Follow safety guidelines when handling chemicals and working at heights

• Perform touch-ups and final inspection for a smooth, even finish

• Coordinate with other trades and supervisors as needed

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of painting experience

• Knowledge of various painting techniques and surface treatments

• Ability to work with different types of paints and finishes

• Good eye for detail, color, and surface quality

• Familiarity with safety and health regulations

• Physically fit and able to work on scaffolding or ladders

• High level of reliability and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in decorative painting, wall textures, or industrial coatings

• Familiarity with spray painting equipment

• Previous work in both indoor and outdoor environments
