About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our mechanical workshop team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating conventional and/or CNC machines for valve component repair, machining, and refurbishment. This position plays a key role in supporting our valve maintenance and overhaul operations for clients across the Oil & Gas, Power, and Industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precision machining on valve components (body, bonnet, spindle, seat, plug, etc.).

• Operate lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines as required.

• Repair, re-machine, or modify parts during valve refurbishment and testing processes.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications accurately.

• Measure dimensions using micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges, and other instruments.

• Ensure high-quality surface finish and dimensional accuracy as per standards.

• Maintain machines and tools in good working condition and follow workshop safety protocols.

• Coordinate with valve technicians, fitters, and QA/QC inspectors to ensure proper workflow.

• Support on-site machining or field repair jobs when required.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Machining, Mechanical, or related trade.

• 2–6 years of hands-on machining experience (preferably in valve repair or industrial maintenance).

• Strong knowledge of conventional lathe and milling machines (CNC knowledge is an advantage).

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Valve Refurbishment, or Industrial Maintenance is highly preferred.

• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work in workshop and occasionally on client sites.
