Flowmeter Calibration & Service Sales Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Flowmeter Calibration & Service Sales Engineer to join our growing industrial service team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of flow measurement systems, calibration procedures, and industrial instrumentation, along with strong sales and client management skills.

The role involves promoting flowmeter calibration, testing, repair, and certification services to clients in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Water, Utilities, and Manufacturing, while driving new business opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for flowmeter calibration and service solutions (both in-house and on-site).

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with end-users, EPCs, and utilities across the GCC.

• Understand customer needs for flow measurement, testing, and certification to propose appropriate solutions.

• Prepare and deliver technical & commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documentation.

• Promote calibration services for differential pressure, ultrasonic, turbine, magnetic, and positive displacement flowmeters.

• Liaise with calibration technicians and engineers to ensure accurate scope execution and client satisfaction.

• Conduct site visits, surveys, and technical discussions to evaluate equipment and recommend maintenance or replacement.

• Maintain and strengthen client relationships through proactive communication, after-sales support, and technical assistance.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth in calibration and service departments.

• Stay updated with industry standards (ISO/IEC 17025, API, BS/EN standards) and new developments in flow measurement technology.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in flowmeter calibration, instrumentation service, or technical sales.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Flowmeter types: Ultrasonic, Magnetic, Turbine, DP, Vortex, etc.

  • Calibration standards, traceability, and metrology principles.

  • Flow loops, test benches, and ISO 17025 calibration processes.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with technical aptitude.

• Ability to prepare detailed proposals, technical reports, and compliance documents.

• Strong client networking, negotiation, and time management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and ERP/quotation systems.
