Executive Level - Oil and Gas Mechanical (Valve)

Overview of the Role

The Executive Level role in Oil and Gas Mechanical (Valve) at Servtech Technical Services LLC is a senior technical and business development position responsible for overseeing and executing specialized mechanical valve services within the oil and gas sector. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, strategic sales acumen, and client relationship management to drive growth and ensure the delivery of high-quality maintenance, refurbishment, and trading services. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's expansion in the GCC region, leveraging industry knowledge, technical skills, and a proactive approach to meet business objectives and uphold safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical and Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oil & gas, power, water, and utilities sectors, focusing on mechanical valve services and related equipment.

  • Proposal Preparation and Negotiation: Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for valve refurbishment, maintenance of boilers and turbines, and other mechanical services, negotiating terms to secure contracts that align with company profitability targets.

  • Client Support and Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical advice, conduct feasibility assessments, and deliver accurate quotations to clients, ensuring their technical requirements are met effectively.

  • Trading and Supply Chain Management: Manage sourcing, procurement, and trading of spare parts and equipment such as valves, safety valves, instrumentation, and related components, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.

  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal technical, procurement, and service teams to facilitate seamless project execution, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

  • Sales and Profitability Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and profitability goals through strategic account management and proactive market engagement.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business, gather market intelligence, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to maintain a competitive edge and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

  • Professional Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or trading within mechanical services, valve systems, boiler systems, or industrial maintenance, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of valves, boilers, turbines, flow meters, and relevant standards such as ASME, API, and ISO to ensure compliance and technical accuracy.

  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
    • Strong technical and commercial acumen to assess client needs and develop suitable solutions.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM tools for effective sales and project management.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Additional Conditions: Possession of a valid UAE driving license is preferred; willingness to travel frequently to client sites and project locations across the region.
