Job Role 

Field technician engaged per job to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential/light-commercial plumbing systems. Scope covers water supply, sanitary fixtures, drainage, pumps/boosters, and water heaters. Deliver to defined quality, safety, and turnaround SLAs; coordinate with dispatch for access/materials; close jobs with complete documentation and client sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive repairs: Leak tracing and rectification; replace mixers/angle valves/hoses/traps; repair WC flush kits, PRV/NRV/float valves; renew silicone/grout; clear clogs (manual/hand auger).

• Installations & replacements: Like-for-like changeout of sanitary ware (WC, basins, kitchen sinks), water heaters (storage/instant with isolation/expansion), filters/softeners, booster/submersible pumps, washing machine/dishwasher connections.

• Pipework: Cut, join, and route PPR/CPVC/UPVC/copper; brazing/press (where applicable); supports/brackets; pressure testing & disinfection.

• Drainage & venting: Check slopes, P-traps, vents, floor/gully drains; minor rerouting; odor troubleshooting and trap primers where needed.

• Preventive maintenance: Aerators/strainers cleaning, cartridge changes, valve exercising, anode checks (where applicable), tank/booster visual inspections.

• Documentation: Record before/after photos, readings (pressure/flow/temperature), materials used, test results, and client sign-off in CRM.

• HSE & housekeeping: PPE, isolation/LOTO where required, confined-space awareness (manholes/tanks), chemical handling, tidy work areas; protect client property.

• Client communication: Explain findings/options, provide BoQ and variations for approval, align on ETAs and access/community rules.

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years hands-on plumbing maintenance/fit-out (UAE/GCC preferred).

• Strong troubleshooting of supply/drainage systems, pumps, and heaters; able to read simple drawings/isometrics.

• Competent in pressure testing, PRV setup, fixture alignment/sealing, and leak prevention best practices.

• Basic English for notes and client updates (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).

• Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.

• Valid UAE driving licence preferred; willing to travel between emirates.

Education & Certifications

• ITI/Trade Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing/Mechanical (preferred).

• HSE/First Aid/Confined-Space awareness certificates are an advantage.
