Expert-level Front-End Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an Expert-level Front-End Leader to own delivery, quality, and engineering standards across multiple product surfaces. In this role, you will provide both technical leadership and people mentorship, guiding engineers, shaping architecture and design systems, ensuring performance and accessibility, and enforcing security and testing best practices. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Back-End teams to deliver reliable, user-centric features through modern CI/CD pipelines. This position blends hands-on coding expertise with leadership and process excellence to set the foundation for scalable, high-quality front-end development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead front-end engineering efforts across multiple product lines, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reliability.

• Architect, design, and oversee front-end systems, frameworks, and reusable components.

• Define and enforce coding standards, testing practices, accessibility, and security compliance.

• Drive performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first responsive design.

• Mentor, coach, and guide engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

• Partner with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into user-centric solutions.

• Collaborate with Back-End and DevOps teams to streamline integrations and CI/CD pipelines.

• Conduct technical reviews, audits, and system health checks to ensure code quality and maintainability.

• Lead innovation initiatives by evaluating emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices.

• Represent the front-end discipline in cross-functional planning and decision-making.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Expert-level proficiency in modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).

• Deep expertise with front-end frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js or similar).

• Strong understanding of state management (Redux, MobX, Vuex, or context APIs).

• Proven knowledge of accessibility (WCAG, ARIA standards), performance optimization, and responsive design.

• Experience with front-end architecture, design systems, and component libraries.

• Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, and DevOps integration.

• Awareness of web application security principles (XSS, CSRF, OWASP guidelines).

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and system analysis skills.

• Strong leadership and communication skills to align engineers with organizational goals.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Advanced certifications in front-end frameworks, cloud/web technologies, or leadership are advantageous.

Experience

• 7–10+ years of hands-on front-end development experience.

• At least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing teams, architecture, and large-scale projects.

• Proven track record of delivering high-performance, enterprise-level web applications.

• Experience working in agile/scrum environments with cross-functional collaboration.
