Job Description: QA/QC Technician

Overview of the Role

The QA/QC Technician at Test Company is a vital member of our quality assurance team, responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and standards. Utilize appropriate testing equipment and techniques to identify defects or deviations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document inspection results, test data, and non-conformance reports. Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings effectively to relevant departments for prompt resolution.
• Quality System Compliance: Ensure adherence to company quality policies, industry regulations, and ISO standards. Participate in internal audits and support external certification processes.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and investigate non-conformances. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes.
• Process Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality enhancement. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to reduce defects and increase efficiency.
• Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures. Foster a culture of quality awareness across the organization.
• Equipment Calibration and Maintenance: Ensure all testing and measurement equipment are properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee accurate results.
• Compliance and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
