Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Business Development Executive (BDE) Who will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and expanding long-term client relationships, while ensuring that the division is positioned as a trusted partner for reliability and safety.
Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Expansion
  • Conduct market research to track upcoming projects, industry trends, shutdowns, tenders, and framework agreements.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across power plants, petrochemical, oil & amp; gas, EPC, Manufacturer and industrial sectors.
  • Promote company’s capabilities, AMCs, and specialized services to target industries.
  • Develop a pipeline of potential clients and maintain updated opportunity tracking reports.
  • Proactively identify and qualify potential business opportunities, generating key leads for effective follow-up and conversion  
2. Client Relationship Management
  • Establish relationships with procurement, maintenance, and operations departments of potential clients, EPC contractors and OEM's.
  • Arrange technical meetings, presentations, and demonstrations with end-users and consultants.
  • Actively pursue pre-qualification with major clients and EPCs.
  • Maintain strong after-sales engagement to secure repeat business.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
3. Technical & Product Knowledge
  • Understand valve types, failure modes, inspection methods, and maintenance procedures.
  • Stay updated on API, ASME, ANSI, and ISO standards relevant to valves and safety systems.
4. Tendering & Documentation
  • Track tender portals, procurement platforms, and networking channels for upcoming opportunities.
  • Handle pre-qualification, vendor registration, and bidding processes with major clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and assist in finalizing long-term service agreements.
  • Support tender team in submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and certification requirements.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
  • Submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets (new client acquisitions, revenue from new accounts).
  • Coordinate with the technical team for preparing techno-commercial offers, proposals, and presentations.
  • Work closely with the existing sales team to convert leads into revenue.
  • Provide periodic reports to management on sales pipeline, market feedback, and competitor activity.
  • Regularly update and manage tasks, leads, opportunities, and follow-ups within the CRM to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.  
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering (preferred) OR strong technical sales background in industrial equipment/valves.
  • 3–6 years of experience in business development, preferably in valves, Static, rotating equipment, or industrial maintenance services.
  • Strong understanding of Industrial clients in UAE/GCC – oil & gas, power generation, utilities, EPCs, and process industries and OEM's
  • Demonstrated success in tendering, contract negotiation, and sales closures.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, CRM tools, and technical documentation.
  • Valid UAE driving license.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Industry Knowledge: Adequate understanding of industrial valves, boilers, instrumentation, and related maintenance services.
  • Sales & Business Development Skills: Proven ability to acquire new clients, grow accounts, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Networking Ability: Develop strong contacts within power generation, oil & gas, utilities, and heavy industries in UAE/GCC.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into technical proposals with support from the engineering team.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and contract negotiation skills.
  • Proactive & Self-Driven: Strong initiative to chase new opportunities, work independently, and deliver measurable results.
