Construction Engineer - Senior Level

Overview of the Role

As a Senior Construction Engineer at construction@talentpool.ae, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing complex construction projects from inception to completion. This position demands a highly experienced professional with a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and construction supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with technical specifications, budget constraints, and regulatory standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Site Management and Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards. Lead site teams and subcontractors to maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Technical Oversight: Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts. Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure construction work meets all regulatory and client requirements. Enforce safety policies to maintain a secure work environment.
• Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and manage expenditures to prevent overruns. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Track project milestones and progress. Prepare detailed reports and communicate updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Regulatory and Environmental Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local laws, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
