Overview of the Role

Servtech Technical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Engineer specializing in Service Valves to join our dynamic team in the AE region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent sales acumen, enabling them to effectively promote and sell our range of service valve solutions to a diverse client base. This role requires a proactive individual capable of understanding complex technical specifications, providing tailored solutions, and building long-term relationships with customers. As a key representative of our company, the Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical support and consultative sales approaches.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Sales and Business Development:
    Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the service valves sector, developing strategic plans to expand market share in the AE region. Engage with potential clients to understand their technical needs and present appropriate solutions that meet their operational requirements.

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients. Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing expert guidance and support throughout the sales process and after-sales service.

  • Product Expertise and Technical Support:
    Develop comprehensive knowledge of the company's service valve products, including specifications, applications, and competitive advantages. Offer technical assistance, troubleshooting, and product demonstrations to clients and internal teams.

  • Proposal Development and Negotiation:
    Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to client requirements. Lead negotiations to secure profitable deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.

  • Market Analysis and Reporting:
    Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market conditions, and customer insights.

  • Coordination with Internal Teams:
    Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and after-sales support teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and customer support. Communicate customer requirements effectively to facilitate product development and service enhancements.

  • Compliance and Documentation:
    Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipelines, and contractual agreements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, specifically in valves or related mechanical/industrial components.

  • Strong knowledge of valve systems, applications, and industry standards (e.g., ANSI, API, ASME).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and build strong client relationships.

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Technical problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into effective solutions.

  • Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and proposal generation tools.

  • Willingness to travel frequently across the AE region to meet clients and attend trade events.

  • Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
