Job Title: Workforce Planning Specialist (Senior Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Workforce Planning Specialist (Senior Level) to lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide workforce planning initiatives. This role plays a key function in aligning human capital strategies with long-term business goals by analyzing workforce trends, forecasting future talent needs, and supporting organizational design. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders, driving data-informed decisions and ensuring workforce agility in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives in collaboration with HR, Finance, and senior leadership.

  • Develop models to forecast workforce supply and demand, identifying future skill gaps and surpluses.

  • Drive the workforce planning cycle, including headcount planning, organizational design, and talent deployment strategies.

  • Analyze business data, labor market trends, and workforce demographics to inform long-term planning.

  • Provide guidance on organizational restructuring, workforce cost optimization, and capability alignment.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to ensure alignment of hiring and development with workforce plans.

  • Present data-driven insights and workforce reports to senior executives for strategic decision-making.

  • Oversee workforce planning tools, systems, and reporting processes to ensure data accuracy and transparency.

  • Ensure compliance with workforce-related legal and regulatory requirements (including UAE/GCC labor laws).

  • Mentor mid-level HR and planning staff, driving best practices across workforce planning functions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Strategy, Economics, or a related field

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in workforce planning, HR strategy, or organizational development

  • Deep understanding of strategic workforce management, budgeting, and talent forecasting

  • Expertise in HR analytics platforms, workforce planning tools, and advanced Excel or BI dashboards

  • Strong business acumen and stakeholder management capabilities

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and advise senior leaders

  • Familiarity with UAE/GCC labor market dynamics and compliance standards

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
