Job Title: Workforce Planning Specialist (Mid-Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking a data-driven and proactive Workforce Planning Specialist (Mid-Level) to support strategic headcount planning, workforce forecasting, and organizational structuring across business units. This role is responsible for analyzing workforce trends, developing planning tools, and ensuring alignment between staffing strategies and business objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with HR, finance, and department heads to build efficient, agile, and cost-effective workforce plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze workforce data and business inputs to develop short- and mid-term workforce plans.

  • Collaborate with HRBPs and department leaders to forecast staffing needs based on business growth, turnover trends, and budget allocations.

  • Develop and maintain headcount tracking reports, staffing dashboards, and organizational charts.

  • Monitor recruitment plans, internal movements, and attrition to ensure alignment with approved workforce budgets.

  • Identify gaps in workforce supply vs. demand and recommend hiring or internal mobility strategies.

  • Support organizational design efforts, including job mapping and role restructuring.

  • Partner with Finance on workforce cost modeling, budget forecasting, and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Assist in preparing business cases and workforce reports for leadership decision-making.

  • Ensure HRIS and position management systems reflect accurate and up-to-date data.

  • Contribute to workforce scenario planning and workforce risk analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

  • 3–5 years of experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or strategic HR roles

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

  • Experience working with HRIS and headcount planning tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Familiarity with UAE/GCC labor regulations and workforce policy frameworks is an advantage

  • Ability to work across multiple departments and manage cross-functional projects
