Ensure conformance to WPS, fabrication drawings, and applicable codes (ASME, AWS, ISO).
Plan and schedule fabrication and welding tasks to meet project deadlines.
Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, and QA/QC teams to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
Allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment) efficiently for optimal output.
Ensure implementation and adherence to qualified welding procedures (WPS/PQR/WQT).
Work closely with QA/QC for stage inspections, NDT, and final acceptance.
Control weld quality and reduce repair/rejection rates through supervision and welder qualification.
Lead, train, and evaluate welders, fabricators, and supervisors.
Monitor productivity and provide guidance on improving techniques and efficiency.
Maintain welder performance logs and continuity records.
Enforce workplace safety and use of PPE as per HSE regulations.
