We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Welder proficient in SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes, certified to ASME/API standards, to perform high-quality welding on pressure parts, piping, and structural components. The candidate will work independently or as part of a fabrication team to meet project specifications and deadlines, ensuring compliance with welding procedures and safety regulations.
Perform welding tasks using SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials according to engineering drawings and WPS.
Carry out root, fill, and cap passes on weld joints with precision and consistent quality.
Prepare, set up, and maintain welding equipment and accessories to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect welds for defects and ensure adherence to ASME Section IX and API welding codes.
Collaborate with QA/QC inspectors to resolve welding discrepancies and maintain welding records.
Participate in welding procedure qualifications (WPQT) and maintain valid certifications.
Coordinate with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors to ensure proper joint preparation and fit-up before welding.
Assist junior welders in developing welding techniques and safe work practices.
Support project execution by meeting production targets and maintaining schedule adherence.
Adhere strictly to safety procedures, use PPE, and follow site safety regulations during welding operations.
Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of workplace safety.

Diploma or ITI in Welding Technology or equivalent
Completed certified welding training

3–5 years of industrial welding experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy fabrication environments
Proven track record of producing welds to code-compliant standards
Proficient in multi-process welding techniques and equipment handling
Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and P&IDs
Strong focus on weld quality and safety
Good communication and teamwork skills
