The Senior Warehouse Supervisor oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, logistics coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety and organizational standards. This role ensures efficient material handling, timely dispatches, and optimal use of warehouse space and resources.
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch.
Manage and coordinate a team of warehouse assistants and helpers.
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Monitor stock levels, track movements, and coordinate with procurement and sales departments.
Conduct routine inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
Ensure proper layout and organization of warehouse space for efficient operations.
Oversee loading/unloading activities, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Enforce warehouse health and safety regulations and conduct safety briefings.
Evaluate team performance, provide training, and implement productivity improvements.
Prepare and submit reports on stock status, damages, discrepancies, and operational efficiency.
Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of progressive warehouse experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and documentation.
Proficiency in using warehouse software and inventory management systems.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with handling goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and safety equipment.
Certification in warehouse or supply chain management (e.g., CILT, APICS).
Forklift operation license and knowledge of international logistics practices.
Experience in industrial, FMCG, or construction materials warehousing.
