The Vice President – Business Development is responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives, forging key partnerships, and driving new revenue channels. This executive role plays a central part in identifying market opportunities, negotiating high-impact deals, and aligning business development efforts with overall corporate goals.
Develop and execute business development strategies to meet company growth targets.
Identify and pursue new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams.
Lead strategic deal-making, including negotiations, proposals, and contract finalization.
Build and manage long-term relationships with high-value clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and finance teams to support go-to-market strategies.
Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitor activity to guide strategy.
Lead and mentor business development teams across regions or verticals.
Prepare regular reports and updates for the executive team and board.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and executive forums.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
8–12 years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or corporate partnerships.
Proven track record of driving growth through new business initiatives and strategic relationships.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical thinking and commercial acumen.
Experience working cross-functionally with senior leadership and global teams.
Industry experience in [customize: e.g., technology, manufacturing, professional services, SaaS, B2B].
Experience in international markets or global expansion strategies.
