Job Title: Vice President, Integrity & Reliability

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Integrity & Reliability to lead our efforts in ensuring the operational integrity, safety, and reliability of our mechanical systems and assets. This leadership role will focus on developing and executing comprehensive integrity management and reliability programs, minimizing risk, maximizing equipment uptime, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrity Management:

  • Develop and implement robust integrity management programs for mechanical systems, including valves, pipelines, pressure vessels, and other critical assets.

  • Oversee inspection, testing, and monitoring strategies to proactively identify and mitigate risks.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards (API, ASME, OSHA), and internal policies related to asset integrity.

Reliability Engineering:

  • Lead reliability initiatives aimed at improving asset performance, reducing failures, and optimizing maintenance strategies.

  • Utilize data analytics, predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis to enhance equipment reliability.

  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and other best practices.

Risk and Safety Management:

  • Champion a safety-first culture focused on preventing incidents and maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and safety reviews to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure alignment of integrity and reliability programs with corporate risk management frameworks.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of integrity and reliability professionals.

  • Work closely with senior leadership, engineering, operations, and quality teams to align strategies and drive continuous improvement.

  • Serve as the company’s technical authority on asset integrity and reliability matters.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of integrity and reliability programs.

  • Provide regular reports and insights to executive leadership and stakeholders.

  • Drive transparency and accountability in all integrity and reliability activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience in integrity management, reliability engineering, or asset management roles within industrial, manufacturing, or energy sectors.

  • Proven leadership experience managing large teams and complex integrity/reliability programs.

  • Deep knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to asset integrity and safety.

Skills:

  • Expertise in inspection techniques, non-destructive testing (NDT), risk assessment, and reliability methodologies.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making and predictive maintenance technologies.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to drive cultural change and foster a proactive reliability mindset.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or similar reliability certifications.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.

  • Certifications in risk management, safety, or inspection (e.g., API 580/581, NACE) are a plus.
