The Senior Ventilation System Supervisor will lead the strategic management, maintenance, and optimization of ventilation systems in control rooms and electrical rooms within a power plant. This senior role requires extensive technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to ensure air quality, safety, and system reliability in critical plant environments.
Lead and manage the ventilation maintenance team, including supervisors, technicians, and contractors, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement ventilation system maintenance strategies, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency response plans.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety departments to align ventilation system performance with plant operational goals and regulatory requirements.
Oversee complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis of ventilation system failures, air quality issues, and control system malfunctions.
Ensure optimal performance of ventilation equipment including AHUs, exhaust fans, dampers, filtration units, and control systems under various operating conditions.
Drive initiatives for energy efficiency, system upgrades, and incorporation of advanced monitoring technologies.
Ensure strict compliance with all applicable safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices related to ventilation in control and electrical rooms.
Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness exercises specific to ventilation systems.
Manage documentation for audits, regulatory inspections, and quality control processes.
Lead ventilation system upgrade projects including design review, contractor supervision, commissioning, and performance validation.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements for maintenance and equipment supply.
Evaluate new technologies and recommend system improvements aligned with industry trends and plant requirements.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Experience:
10+ years of experience in ventilation or HVAC system management, with at least 5 years in a senior supervisory or leadership role within power plants or industrial settings
Skills:
Deep expertise in ventilation system design, control, and maintenance in electrical and control room environments
