We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Ventilation System Supervisor to support the operation and maintenance of ventilation systems specifically in control rooms and electrical rooms within a power plant. This junior supervisory role is ideal for candidates with basic knowledge of ventilation principles and mechanical systems who want to develop their skills in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for critical plant areas.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining ventilation equipment such as exhaust fans, air handling units (AHUs), ductwork, and filtration systems in control and electrical rooms.
Help supervise daily inspections to ensure airflow rates and environmental conditions meet safety and operational standards.
Report any ventilation abnormalities, noise, vibration, or air quality concerns to senior supervisors.
Support minor troubleshooting and repair activities related to ventilation equipment under senior guidance.
Assist technicians in cleaning, filter replacements, and lubrication tasks.
Maintain records of routine maintenance and operational checks.
Ensure ventilation systems comply with power plant safety codes and environmental standards.
Support the enforcement of PPE use and safe work practices when working near electrical equipment.
Participate in safety drills and ventilation system emergency procedures.
Assist in coordinating daily tasks among ventilation maintenance personnel.
Help maintain shift logs and assist with scheduling as directed by senior supervisors.
Communicate effectively with control room and electrical maintenance teams.
Support operation and maintenance of ventilation in control and electrical rooms
Assist in inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
Maintain safety compliance and proper documentation
Coordinate with maintenance teams and report system issues
Develop knowledge of ventilation system controls and environmental standards
Education:
Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field
Experience:
0–2 years of hands-on experience in ventilation or HVAC maintenance, preferably in industrial or power plant environments
Skills:
Basic understanding of ventilation systems, airflows, and filtration
Familiarity with maintenance tools and safety procedures
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and follow safety standards rigorously
