We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Valvetrain Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of advanced valvetrain systems for internal combustion engines (ICE) and hybrid powertrains. This position is critical to delivering durable, efficient, and performance-optimized engine systems, with responsibilities spanning technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers.
Lead the design and optimization of valvetrain systems and components such as camshafts, lifters, rocker arms, valve springs, and timing systems.
Perform and guide kinematic, dynamic, and fatigue analyses to ensure system reliability under high-load and high-speed conditions.
Direct CAD model development and detailed drawing reviews, ensuring compliance with GD&T and manufacturing feasibility.
Oversee simulation and validation activities (FEA, durability testing, NVH performance).
Collaborate with calibration, testing, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure system-level integration and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct and review DFMEA, DVP&R, and root cause analyses for design robustness and quality compliance.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.
Contribute to innovation initiatives including lightweight designs, variable valvetrain technologies (VVT/VVL), and electrified engine integration.
