We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Valve Maintenance Supervisor to lead and execute maintenance activities on process valves across sanitary production lines in a Food & Beverage (F&B) manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, compliance, and efficient operation of hygienic valve systems used in processing, CIP, utilities, and packaging lines.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with sanitary valves and will coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure GMP and food safety compliance.

Lead scheduled preventive maintenance of sanitary valves (mix-proof, butterfly, diaphragm, seat, control, and check valves).
Supervise valve disassembly, inspection, gasket/seal replacement, reassembly, and function testing.
Ensure correct handling of valves used in high-risk CIP, product, or utility zones.
Respond to valve-related production breakdowns and identify root causes (e.g., air leak, seal failure, stuck actuator).
Collaborate with automation and controls teams to address valve actuation and signal issues.
Recommend improvements in valve selection, layout, or service intervals to reduce downtime.
Ensure maintenance work follows 3-A, EHEDG, and FDA hygiene requirements.
Monitor valve reassembly practices to avoid contamination risk or cross-product exposure.
Support internal audits and food safety inspections related to valve integrity and maintenance records.
Maintain accurate service logs, parts replacement history, and failure reports in the CMMS.
Monitor valve inventory levels and coordinate restocking of service kits and spare actuators.
Update SOPs and maintenance work instructions as procedures evolve.
Lead small maintenance teams and junior technicians during planned maintenance windows.
Provide on-the-job training in hygienic valve maintenance, LOTO practices, and cleanliness protocols.
Conduct safety toolbox talks and enforce hygiene compliance in maintenance zones.
Diploma or associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical field.
3–6 years of hands-on experience in valve maintenance or process equipment maintenance in a food, beverage, or dairy facility.
Familiarity with sanitary valve brands such as Alfa Laval, GEA, SPX FLOW, or Burkert.
Proficiency in using CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Infor)
Understanding of pneumatic valve actuation and CIP system integration
Ability to read P&IDs, valve layout drawings, and maintenance manuals
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
Mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Attention to hygiene and sanitation practices
Leadership and coordination under time-sensitive conditions
