We are seeking a motivated Junior Valve Maintenance Supervisor to assist in supervising and executing the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of process valves in a Food & Beverage (F&B) manufacturing environment. This entry-level supervisory role is responsible for ensuring that valve systems used in hygienic and utility processes are operational, sanitary-compliant, and safely maintained.
The role supports senior maintenance staff in planning daily work, performing basic diagnostics, and overseeing valve servicing activities, including documentation and coordination with operations.

Assist in inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating process valves (butterfly, seat, mix-proof, control, and check valves).
Support scheduled valve maintenance for production lines, utilities, and CIP systems.
Perform gasket and seal replacements under supervision and ensure proper reassembly.
Ensure valve maintenance procedures follow 3-A, EHEDG, and FDA hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness of tools and parts used during valve disassembly and repair.
Participate in cleanroom or hygiene-zone protocols if applicable.
Help execute daily maintenance schedules provided by the CMMS or maintenance planner.
Record maintenance actions, valve conditions, and component replacements accurately.
Support in maintaining up-to-date valve inventory and spare part usage logs.
Assist in diagnosing basic valve faults such as leaks, poor actuation, or flow issues.
Coordinate with stores for retrieval of correct valve kits, seals, and actuators.
Flag recurring problems or critical valve failures to senior technicians or engineering staff.
Work closely with senior supervisors and technicians to learn proper valve handling and servicing.
Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and plant safety procedures during maintenance.
Attend technical training sessions on valve types, maintenance best practices, and hygiene standards.
Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Technology, or Industrial Mechanics.
0–2 years of experience in mechanical or maintenance roles (internships/apprenticeships acceptable).
Basic knowledge of mechanical parts and sanitary system components.
Exposure to valve technologies in F&B, dairy, or beverage manufacturing
Understanding of sanitary design and food safety requirements
Familiarity with maintenance tracking software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Infor)
Basic ability to read technical manuals and valve diagrams
