We are looking for a motivated Junior Valve Integrity Engineer to assist in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of valve systems within our operations. This role involves supporting valve inspections, integrity assessments, data analysis, and maintenance planning under the guidance of senior engineers. The position is ideal for candidates starting their career in valve integrity and asset management.
Assist in conducting valve condition assessments, inspections, and testing activities.
Support data collection and analysis to evaluate valve performance and identify potential integrity issues.
Help maintain accurate valve integrity records and databases.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule valve inspections and repairs.
Assist in preparing inspection reports, integrity management plans, and work orders.
Participate in root cause analysis and failure investigations.
Support adherence to industry standards, codes, and company policies related to valve integrity (e.g., API, ASME).
Maintain up-to-date documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to address valve integrity concerns.
Provide support during audits, shutdowns, and turnarounds involving valve integrity.
Build knowledge of valve types, materials, inspection techniques, and integrity management systems.
Participate in training sessions and professional development activities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in valve integrity, inspection, or asset management (internships or relevant training are a plus).
Basic understanding of valve construction, operation, and common failure modes.
Familiarity with inspection techniques and integrity assessment principles.
Proficiency in using data management and reporting tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.
Entry-level certifications in inspection or asset integrity (e.g., API 570, API 653) are a plus.
Basic safety and quality training.
