Job Title: Vice President of Total Rewards

Job Summary:

We are seeking a data-driven and strategic Vice President of Total Rewards to lead the design, development, and execution of the organization's compensation, benefits, and recognition programs. This role is responsible for ensuring that our total rewards strategy is competitive, equitable, and aligned with business goals. The VP of Total Rewards will work closely with senior leadership, finance, and HR teams to ensure reward programs attract, motivate, and retain top talent while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compensation Strategy:
    Design and manage competitive salary structures, incentive plans, and executive compensation aligned with market trends and business objectives.

  • Benefits Administration:
    Oversee employee benefits programs (healthcare, insurance, retirement, wellness) and evaluate cost, utilization, and employee satisfaction.

  • Equity & Recognition Programs:
    Lead equity-based compensation planning and employee recognition strategies that reinforce performance and company values.

  • Job Architecture & Benchmarking:
    Develop and maintain job evaluation frameworks, pay grading systems, and conduct market benchmarking to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:
    Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting related to compensation and benefits (e.g., tax laws, labor laws, pay equity).

  • Reward Analytics & Reporting:
    Provide data-driven insights and reports on reward-related KPIs (e.g., total compensation cost, ROI on incentive plans, participation rates).

  • Executive Collaboration:
    Advise the executive team and Compensation Committee on reward structures, budgeting, and total compensation philosophy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 10–15 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with 5+ years in a senior leadership or strategy role

  • Proven expertise in designing global total rewards strategies in large or matrixed organizations

  • Strong knowledge of compensation laws, benefits regulations, and executive remuneration practices

  • Experience with HRIS, compensation benchmarking platforms, and data analytics tools

Skills & Competencies:

  • Analytical thinker with strong quantitative and modeling skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • High attention to detail and regulatory awareness

  • Ability to influence executive-level decisions with data and strategic insight

  • Deep understanding of employee motivation, reward trends, and workforce segmentation
