The VP of Technical Operations – Marine Power and Energy Systems leads the global execution of technical programs related to marine propulsion, onboard power generation, hybrid systems, and electrical integration. This executive-level role ensures alignment between engineering design, manufacturing, commissioning, and field service functions, with a focus on delivering operational excellence, fleet readiness, and lifecycle efficiency for both naval and commercial platforms.
Lead all technical operations across the lifecycle of marine power systems—from system integration and installation to sea trials, maintenance, and modernization.
Oversee global technical teams managing gas/steam turbines, diesel-electric systems, hybrid energy architectures, and energy storage integration.
Serve as the top-level decision-maker on power plant layout, commissioning readiness, failure recovery protocols, and performance optimization.
Align engineering execution with customer mission requirements, contractual performance goals, and fleet support strategies.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for commissioning, diagnostics, root cause analysis, and field service excellence.
Ensure system compliance with IMO, ABS, DNV, USCG, and MIL-SPEC power and safety standards.
Manage technical documentation, fleet configuration baselines, and long-term support plans (ILS, obsolescence strategies, spares programs).
Drive collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, shipyard integration teams, and customer technical authorities.
Champion a data-driven operations culture, leveraging condition-based maintenance, predictive analytics, and real-time monitoring systems.
Represent the company in executive customer reviews, technical audits, and regulatory inspections globally.
