The Vice President – Pumps and Rotating Equipment is responsible for leading the strategic, commercial, and operational activities of the pumps and rotating machinery division. This includes a full range of products and services covering centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, screw pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, electric motors, gearboxes, and turbines. The VP will oversee business development, engineering, project delivery, service operations, and innovation across industrial sectors such as oil & gas, power, water, mining, and manufacturing.
Develop and implement business strategies for the growth and diversification of pumps and rotating equipment offerings.
Lead market expansion across regional and international markets through partnerships, JVs, and direct channels.
Define and manage the division's P&L, including budgeting, financial performance, and investment plans.
Direct sales teams to achieve revenue goals through major project acquisitions, aftermarket service contracts, and OEM partnerships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, OEMs, consultants, government clients, and industrial end-users.
Guide commercial teams in bidding for high-value equipment supply and long-term service agreements (LTSAs).
Ensure the delivery of technically compliant, energy-efficient, and application-specific rotating equipment solutions.
Drive standardization, innovation, and digital monitoring capabilities (e.g., vibration analysis, predictive maintenance).
Oversee project delivery from design and procurement to installation, commissioning, and lifecycle management.
Ensure integration with internal departments including QA/QC, HSE, engineering, and field services.
Strengthen aftermarket business through repair services, spare parts, condition monitoring, retrofits, and AMCs.
Expand workshop capabilities, field maintenance teams, and diagnostic services.
Report business metrics, risks, and forecasts to the executive board.
Ensure compliance with international standards (API, ISO, ANSI) and local regulatory frameworks.
Build and mentor a multidisciplinary team including sales, applications, project management, and service professionals.
Foster a performance-driven culture with emphasis on safety, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Rotating Equipment Engineering (Master’s or MBA preferred)
15–20+ years of experience in rotating equipment, pumps, or industrial mechanical systems with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven P&L management experience and success in leading high-value projects
Deep knowledge of API standards, rotating equipment design, installation, and maintenance
Regional and global industry exposure preferred (UAE/GCC desirable)
Executive leadership in mechanical and rotating systems
Business growth strategy and commercial negotiation
Deep technical understanding of pumps, motors, compressors, and turbines
Lifecycle services, asset reliability, and predictive maintenance
Project execution and client relationship management
Cross-functional team leadership and international business development
