The Vice President – HVAC Systems is responsible for leading the strategic growth, operational excellence, and technical innovation of the HVAC business unit. This executive role covers both commercial and industrial HVAC systems including chilled water systems, VRF/VRV, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), ductwork, controls, energy recovery systems, and retrofit/maintenance services. The VP oversees sales, design, project execution, and after-sales operations across key sectors like real estate, infrastructure, healthcare, data centers, and district cooling.
Define and lead the long-term strategy for the HVAC division, including market expansion, product portfolio development, and commercial performance.
Drive geographic growth, partner development, and entry into high-value sectors such as green buildings and energy retrofits.
Own P&L for the HVAC business line and ensure delivery of financial and operational KPIs.
Oversee business development, key account acquisition, and tendering of major HVAC projects.
Support commercial teams in closing large-scale contracts with developers, EPCs, and MEP contractors.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with consultants, government clients, and facility owners.
Guide engineering and R&D in developing energy-efficient, sustainable HVAC solutions aligned with global standards (ASHRAE, LEED, Estidama).
Promote smart HVAC controls, digital monitoring, and hybrid cooling systems for enhanced performance.
Oversee HVAC project execution from design, procurement, installation, to commissioning and maintenance.
Ensure coordination between engineering, supply chain, project teams, and service departments.
Lead and mentor senior managers across sales, engineering, and service departments.
Implement training, succession planning, and performance management initiatives to build a high-performing organization.
Provide regular executive reports on performance, risks, forecasts, and growth plans.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, and project delivery quality norms.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Engineering (Master’s or MBA preferred)
15–20+ years of HVAC industry experience, including at least 5 years in an executive leadership role
Proven track record in managing HVAC businesses with full P&L responsibility
In-depth understanding of HVAC design, energy efficiency standards, and MEP project execution
Experience with regional HVAC markets (UAE/GCC) and international exposure preferred
