The Vice President – Boiler and Thermal Systems is responsible for overseeing the strategic growth, technical excellence, and commercial success of the boiler and thermal energy division. This includes leadership across product lines such as steam boilers, hot water systems, waste heat recovery units (WHRUs), thermal oil heaters, burners, and energy efficiency solutions. The VP will manage multi-disciplinary teams, engage with key clients and EPCs, and ensure sustainable business expansion across industrial sectors including oil & gas, power, district energy, food processing, and manufacturing.
Define and execute growth strategy for boiler and thermal systems across core and emerging markets.
Develop commercial models, pricing strategies, and sales objectives in alignment with corporate goals.
Identify and secure large-scale thermal energy projects and long-term service contracts.
Lead technical development, product standardization, and innovation across thermal equipment offerings.
Ensure compliance with global standards (e.g., ASME, EN, API, ISO) and drive adoption of energy-efficient technologies.
Support regional business development teams in key pursuits and strategic accounts.
Foster strong relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and industrial end-users.
Drive expansion into new sectors such as renewable-thermal integration and decarbonization projects.
Oversee proposal engineering, project execution, after-sales services, and maintenance strategies.
Ensure seamless coordination between sales, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams for high-quality delivery.
Build and lead a team of senior managers, engineers, and commercial professionals.
Develop leadership pipeline and implement training and competency frameworks for technical staff.
Report business performance, market risks, and project status to executive leadership and board.
Deliver regular forecasts, budget plans, and investment recommendations for the thermal division.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal/Power Engineering (Master’s or MBA preferred)
15+ years of experience in boiler systems, thermal energy solutions, or industrial heating systems
Proven leadership in managing boiler product lines or thermal EPC projects across international markets
Strong knowledge of thermal system design, combustion engineering, and energy efficiency standards
Exposure to decarbonization technologies, digital boiler controls, or hybrid systems is an advantage
GCC/global experience preferred; strong stakeholder network is a plus
