We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Vice President – Projects & Infrastructure to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale mechanical and structural fabrication projects across industrial and power plant infrastructures. This executive role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of mechanical systems, structural steel fabrication, construction methods, and a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and high-value contracts. The VP will be responsible for aligning project execution with business goals, ensuring engineering integrity, schedule adherence, cost optimization, and compliance with industry codes and safety standards.
Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure and fabrication projects—from design and procurement to fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
Develop and execute project management strategies aligned with business objectives and performance targets.
Lead large EPC or design-build projects related to mechanical, piping, steel structures, and plant infrastructure.
Ensure adherence to applicable codes such as ASME, API, AWS D1.1, and AISC.
Review and approve engineering packages, fabrication drawings, and construction methodologies.
Direct QA/QC, NDT, and welding inspection protocols to ensure fabrication quality and plant safety.
Lead a team of project managers, construction engineers, planners, and fabrication supervisors.
Oversee contractor performance, workforce allocation, and interface management across departments.
Promote collaboration across engineering, procurement, fabrication shops, and field execution teams.
Establish budget controls, monitor cash flow, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring continuity and quality in execution.
Monitor KPIs related to schedule, scope, cost, safety, and productivity.
Engage with clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, and third-party inspectors to ensure alignment.
Serve as the technical authority and project escalation point for key issues.
Represent the organization in high-level project reviews and industry forums.

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
Advanced training in fabrication technology or construction management is a plus
Experience:
15–20+ years of progressive experience in industrial projects, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role
Demonstrated experience managing fabrication of mechanical/structural components in energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors
Proven ability to manage EPC contracts and multidisciplinary project teams
Skills:
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, structural fabrication, and heavy erection practices
Proficiency in project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project) and ERP systems
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills
Expertise in stakeholder and regulatory management
