The Vice President – Engineering & Technology (Valves Division) is a senior executive responsible for leading the strategic direction, innovation, and execution of all engineering and technology initiatives for the company’s valves product line. This role oversees product development, R&D, compliance engineering, and product lifecycle management to drive technical excellence, global competitiveness, and market growth. The VP plays a critical role in aligning engineering capabilities with business goals, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
Define and execute the global engineering strategy for the valves division in alignment with corporate objectives.
Drive innovation in valve design, materials, actuation technologies, and digital integration (e.g., smart/IoT-enabled valves).
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to ensure market leadership and product differentiation.
Lead cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of valve products — from concept, design, prototyping, validation, and certification to launch.
Oversee development of new technologies in pressure/flow control, automation, and specialty applications (e.g., cryogenic, high-pressure, sanitary).
Promote modular design, value engineering, and IP development for global valve applications.
Establish best-in-class engineering processes including stage-gate product development, design reviews, FMEA, and reliability testing.
Implement robust PLM systems, CAD/CAE tools, and digital engineering platforms.
Partner with manufacturing to ensure DFM/DFA alignment and seamless transition from design to production.
Ensure products meet all applicable global standards and certifications (e.g., API, ASME, ISO, CE, PED, UL, ATEX).
Drive design quality, performance testing, and documentation for customer and regulatory audits.
Lead initiatives in environmental compliance and product sustainability.
Build and mentor a high-performing global engineering organization, including design, R&D, compliance, and technical services.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Align engineering talent and resources with current and future business needs across global markets.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (required)
Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or an MBA (preferred)
PMP, PE license, Six Sigma, or other relevant credentials a plus
Familiarity with standards such as API 6D/600, ASME B16.34, ISO 9001, CE/PED, and SIL
15+ years of progressive experience in valve or flow-control product engineering
7+ years in a senior engineering leadership role with global scope
Proven record of product innovation, technology strategy, and successful product launches
Experience working with manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams in a matrixed organization
Deep expertise in valve design, materials, actuation, sealing, and testing
