We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President – Energy, Climate, and Environmental Systems to lead and transform our enterprise-wide strategy for sustainable energy use, climate control technologies, and environmental performance. This executive will oversee the design, implementation, and governance of high-impact programs across HVAC systems, utilities, emissions control, and environmental compliance.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in energy systems and climate engineering, combined with strong business acumen and a passion for driving decarbonization, resilience, and operational excellence in complex industrial, commercial, or institutional settings.
Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide energy management strategies to reduce consumption, optimize systems, and drive carbon neutrality.
Oversee audits, metering, benchmarking, and analytics for electric, thermal, and fuel systems.
Lead energy transition projects, including electrification, renewable energy adoption, and integration of on-site generation (solar, CHP, etc.).
Provide strategic direction for high-efficiency HVAC system design and operation across facilities (including cleanrooms, data centers, labs, and commercial spaces).
Integrate smart building technologies (BAS/BMS, IoT, demand response) for predictive climate control and occupant comfort.
Ensure systems meet ASHRAE standards and internal KPIs for thermal stability and energy intensity.
Oversee air, water, and waste-related infrastructure and ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, ISO 14001).
Lead sustainability reporting, ESG audits, and compliance with permits (e.g., GHG emissions, effluents, refrigerants).
Implement advanced monitoring and mitigation strategies for emissions, noise, particulate matter, and environmental risk.
Translate environmental performance into measurable business value by aligning initiatives with ESG goals, investor expectations, and brand commitments.
Collaborate with internal sustainability, legal, and investor relations teams on disclosures (e.g., CDP, TCFD, GRI).
Serve as the executive sponsor for green building certifications (e.g., LEED, WELL, Energy Star).
Direct capital investment planning and major infrastructure upgrades for energy and environmental systems.
Oversee multi-site implementation of large-scale projects including HVAC retrofits, waste heat recovery, and refrigeration system modernization.
Manage external consultants, EPC firms, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery on time and budget.
Build and lead a cross-functional team of engineers, environmental specialists, project managers, and sustainability professionals.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Mentor technical leaders and support talent development in energy and environmental disciplines.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Environmental, or Energy Engineering (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
Professional Engineering (PE) license, LEED AP, or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credentials are highly desirable.
Experience:
15+ years in energy, HVAC, or environmental systems leadership, with at least 5–7 years in executive-level roles.
Strong experience managing multi-site or global energy and sustainability programs.
Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects and achieving ESG/energy KPIs.
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, building physics, industrial energy systems, and renewable technologies.
Proficiency in analytics, modeling tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQuest), and building automation platforms.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (EPA, ISO 50001/14001, ASHRAE, local codes).
