We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Fresher Turnaround Supervisor to assist in overseeing valve and piping activities during plant shutdowns and turnarounds. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates eager to develop their supervisory skills and gain hands-on experience in valve and piping maintenance within industrial turnaround projects. You will work closely with experienced supervisors to support the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical tasks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Assist senior supervisors in monitoring daily valve and piping maintenance, repairs, and replacements during turnaround activities.
Help ensure installation and maintenance activities follow project plans, drawings, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with technicians and contractors to track task progress and resolve minor site issues.
Promote and help enforce safe work practices, including the use of PPE and compliance with permit-to-work systems.
Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and hazard identification activities.
Report any safety concerns or incidents to supervisors promptly.
Maintain daily logs and help prepare reports on work progress, issues, and completed tasks.
Assist in maintaining records of valve and piping equipment, including inspection and test reports.
Support quality assurance efforts by verifying proper documentation and tagging of installed valves and piping components.
Support communication between field crews, planning teams, and engineering departments.
Participate in meetings to understand turnaround schedules, job scopes, and priorities.
Assist in managing materials and tools availability for efficient workflow.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical field.
Fresh graduates or with limited field experience are encouraged to apply.
Internship or project experience related to valves, piping, or mechanical systems is a plus but not mandatory.
Basic understanding of valve types, piping systems, and mechanical maintenance concepts.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and job instructions.
Familiarity with safety standards and work permit systems.
Strong willingness to learn and take initiative.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
Basic safety training (e.g., OSHA 10, site safety orientation) is advantageous.
