The Senior Turbocharger Assembly Supervisor provides strategic leadership and management for the turbocharger assembly operations within an automotive manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing multi-shift assembly teams, driving operational excellence, ensuring adherence to stringent quality and safety standards, and collaborating with engineering and production leadership to meet business objectives.
Lead and manage multi-shift turbocharger assembly teams to achieve production, quality, and safety targets.
Develop and implement assembly strategies, workflows, and best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize defects.
Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, internal quality protocols, and safety regulations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance process performance.
Mentor, coach, and develop supervisors and assembly team leads to build a high-performing workforce.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve complex production challenges.
Manage labor planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize assembly line performance.
Oversee documentation, reporting, and analysis of production metrics to inform leadership decisions.
Champion a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence across all shifts.

7+ years in manufacturing or assembly operations, with 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role in automotive or turbocharger production
Proven track record leading multi-shift teams and driving operational improvements
Deep knowledge of turbocharger assembly processes, tooling, and quality systems
Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
Strong understanding of automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building abilities
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
