We are looking for an experienced Senior Turbine Technician to lead and oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of steam and gas turbines. You will act as a technical expert, guiding teams during complex outages and routine operations to ensure maximum turbine reliability and performance. This role involves mentoring junior staff, coordinating with engineering and operations teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize turbine systems.
Lead and execute complex inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities on steam and gas turbines.
Perform advanced diagnostics, vibration analysis, and root cause failure investigations.
Ensure proper alignment, balancing, and calibration of turbine components following OEM and industry standards.
Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level turbine technicians, providing guidance on best practices and safety compliance.
Coordinate team activities during outages, turnarounds, and emergency repairs to meet schedules and quality standards.
Plan and manage turbine maintenance tasks during scheduled outages, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely completion.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to prioritize work and resolve operational issues swiftly.
Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and toolbox talks.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies and industry standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, reliability enhancements, and cost savings in turbine maintenance activities.
Participate in the development of maintenance strategies and procedures.
Maintain detailed records of turbine condition, maintenance performed, and recommendations for future actions.
Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to management and engineering teams.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Technology, or related field.
7+ years of extensive experience in steam and gas turbine maintenance, preferably in power generation or oil & gas sectors.
Proven track record in leading outage activities, troubleshooting complex turbine issues, and implementing reliability improvements.
Expertise in turbine mechanical systems, vibration analysis, balancing, and alignment.
Strong knowledge of OEM manuals, API standards, and industry best practices.
Proficient in using diagnostic and measuring instruments.

Ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
Strong problem-solving mindset and decision-making ability.
Certified Vibration Analyst (Level II or III)
Professional Engineering License (PE) or equivalent
Advanced safety certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA)
