We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Turbine Supervisor to lead the execution of complex maintenance, overhaul, and commissioning activities for gas and/or steam turbines in power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industrial settings. This leadership role requires deep technical expertise, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to interface with cross-functional teams, OEMs, and client stakeholders. The ideal candidate has extensive field experience, has led major turbine outages, and is capable of driving performance, reliability, and safety excellence.
Lead major inspections, overhauls, and repairs of gas and steam turbines, including rotor inspections, alignment, seal replacements, and bearing work.
Provide technical direction during disassembly, reassembly, and commissioning activities.
Diagnose advanced turbine issues using performance data, vibration analysis, and OEM guidelines.
Supervise and mentor mechanical teams, including technicians and junior supervisors.
Allocate manpower, tools, and resources to meet tight turnaround schedules.
Ensure task execution meets quality and HSE standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for turbine-related activities during turnarounds or outages.
Liaise with OEM representatives, third-party inspectors, and client engineers.
Provide expert input during project planning, technical reviews, and progress meetings.
Lead job planning and method statement preparation for turbine work scopes.
Oversee inventory and procurement of spare parts and specialized tools.
Track and report KPIs, timelines, and maintenance metrics.
Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, permit-to-work systems, and risk assessments.
Lead safety briefings, root cause investigations, and corrective action planning.
Lead turbine maintenance and major outages
Drive team performance and technical excellence
Ensure safety and quality compliance
Interface with clients, vendors, and project leadership
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
Specialized OEM training (GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.) strongly preferred
8–15+ years of experience in gas/steam turbine maintenance and supervision
Proven track record leading turbine overhauls and commissioning in high-stakes environments
Deep familiarity with turbine control systems, vibration diagnostics, and alignment tools
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Advanced technical knowledge of turbine internals, auxiliaries, and performance tuning
Effective communicator with experience managing diverse teams and technical discussions
Fluent in interpreting OEM manuals, ISO procedures, and mechanical schematics
NEBOSH/OSHA or similar safety qualifications
API, ASME, or OEM turbine overhaul certifications
Rigging & lifting, confined space, and high-risk work permits
