We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Junior Turbine Supervisor to support the supervision and execution of maintenance, installation, and overhaul activities related to gas and/or steam turbines. This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with hands-on turbine experience and a strong interest in developing leadership capabilities within the power generation or oil & gas sector. The position involves assisting senior supervisors in managing site activities, ensuring work quality, safety compliance, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Assist in overseeing the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of gas or steam turbines during routine and major maintenance activities.
Support alignment and installation processes under the guidance of senior engineers or supervisors.
Coordinate with mechanical technicians and vendors during turbine operations and minor shutdowns.
Ensure tools, consumables, and spare parts required for turbine maintenance are prepared and available.
Monitor progress of turbine-related tasks and report deviations or risks to senior staff.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety compliance in the turbine work area.
Assist in recording work activities, maintenance checklists, and equipment condition reports.
Participate in job hazard assessments and daily work briefings.
Follow all company safety procedures and turbine-specific protocols.
Promote a culture of safety by using proper PPE and encouraging safe practices among technicians.
Support turbine maintenance execution and work coordination
Safety-focused supervision and field monitoring
Foundational leadership development in turbine operations
Accurate documentation of maintenance activities
Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Power Engineering
Additional training or certification in turbine operation or maintenance is a plus
1–3 years of hands-on experience with gas or steam turbines (operation or maintenance)
Exposure to power plants, refineries, or industrial utility systems preferred
Basic understanding of turbine systems, alignment, and mechanical maintenance
Strong organizational and communication skills
Willingness to learn and step into a supervisory role
Working knowledge of safety and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures
OSHA or equivalent safety training
OEM turbine training (GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.) is an asset
Rigging, lifting, or confined space certification
