We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Turbine Fitter / Mechanical Fitter to support the mechanical maintenance, assembly, and disassembly of steam and gas turbines. This is an entry-level position suited for candidates with basic mechanical knowledge, ideally with vocational or technical training in mechanical fitting or turbine systems. You will work under the supervision of senior technicians and engineers to ensure safe and efficient turbine maintenance and repair.
Support in the dismantling, inspection, and assembly of turbine components including rotors, casings, bearings, and seals.
Clean mechanical parts and assist in checking for wear, damage, or deformation.
Perform alignment tasks, bolt tightening, and assist in component measurements.
Prepare tools, equipment, and work areas for turbine maintenance activities.
Assist in transporting parts and consumables during overhauls or outages.
Help with basic fitting tasks such as grinding, lapping, deburring, and fastening.
Follow all site safety procedures, including use of PPE and lockout-tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Report unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas.
Participate in on-the-job training under senior technicians and supervisors.
Read and understand mechanical drawings, manuals, and job instructions.
Learn proper use of precision measuring tools and turbine-specific equipment.

Technical diploma or ITI in Mechanical Fitting, Maintenance, or equivalent.
Vocational training related to turbines or rotating equipment is a plus.
0–2 years of experience in mechanical fitting, preferably in a workshop or power plant environment.
Exposure to turbine components or rotating machinery is advantageous but not mandatory.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools
Ability to follow instructions and read basic engineering drawings
Familiarity with workshop safety practices
Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role
Good teamwork and communication skills
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
