We are seeking a skilled Turbine Control Technician (Mid-Level) to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and calibration of control systems associated with steam and gas turbines. The role requires solid experience with PLCs, DCS, instrumentation, and turbine control logic. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of control systems during normal operations, startups, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of turbine control components including sensors, transmitters, actuators, solenoids, and control valves.
Perform loop checks, signal verification, and troubleshooting of control systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic).
Identify and correct logic and hardware faults within PLC and DCS systems.
Monitor and adjust control system parameters during turbine startup, shutdown, and load changes.
Work closely with operations and mechanical teams to diagnose turbine performance or control issues.
Participate in tuning and optimization of turbine control loops for efficiency and reliability.
Support control system inspections and overhaul activities during plant outages.
Coordinate with OEMs and engineering teams for turbine control logic updates or upgrades.
Maintain accurate logs of control system calibrations, modifications, and maintenance actions.
Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and technical documentation standards.
Guide junior technicians in control system practices and troubleshooting methods.
Collaborate with instrumentation engineers and IT/automation teams on system integration projects.

Diploma or Bachelor's in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
3–6 years of hands-on experience in turbine control systems within a power plant, refinery, or industrial facility.
Solid experience working with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and control loop tuning.
Familiarity with control systems from GE, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Emerson is highly preferred.
Proficiency in loop checking, PID tuning, signal tracing, and system diagnostics.
Knowledge of turbine trip logic, protection systems, and startup/shutdown sequences.
Comfortable reading P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and control narratives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

PLC/DCS programming certifications
