The Senior Turbine Component Testing Supervisor leads and manages all testing operations for turbine components in an automotive environment. This role is responsible for strategic oversight of test programs, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The senior supervisor directs multi-shift teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, collaborates with engineering and R&D, and manages lab resources to support advanced turbine development.
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for turbine component testing programs, including blades, discs, housings, and shafts.
Manage, mentor, and develop a multi-shift team of lab technicians, supervisors, and support staff.
Develop and enforce comprehensive testing policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment readiness to meet demanding project timelines.
Collaborate closely with engineering, R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams to interpret test data and support product validation and development.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to optimize lab operations and testing accuracy.
Manage budgeting, procurement, and maintenance of testing equipment and instrumentation.
Investigate and resolve complex test failures, equipment issues, and quality deviations.
Prepare and present technical reports, test results, and operational updates to senior management.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
7+ years in turbine or automotive component testing environments, with 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
Proven success managing complex test programs and diverse teams
Expert knowledge of turbine component testing methodologies, instrumentation, and data analysis
Strong experience with lab equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements
