The Mid-Level Turbine Component Testing Supervisor manages daily testing operations for turbine components within an automotive environment. This role leads a team of technicians, coordinates test schedules, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and works closely with engineering teams to validate turbine component performance. The supervisor drives process improvements and maintains lab/test equipment reliability.
Lead and supervise testing activities for turbine components such as blades, discs, housings, and shafts.
Develop and manage test schedules, resource allocation, and test rig setups to meet project deadlines.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and testing procedures.
Oversee maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of test equipment and instrumentation.
Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to interpret test results and recommend improvements.
Train, mentor, and evaluate lab technicians and operators.
Manage documentation of test plans, results, and technical reports.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
3–5 years of experience in turbine component testing, lab supervision, or automotive test environments

Strong understanding of turbine components and testing methodologies
Experience with lab instrumentation, data acquisition, and calibration
Ability to interpret technical drawings and test data
Effective leadership and communication skills
