The Senior Turbine Calibration & Dyno Testing Supervisor provides leadership and strategic oversight for turbine calibration and dynamometer testing operations within an automotive manufacturing and R&D environment. This role manages multi-shift teams, drives continuous improvement, ensures adherence to rigorous quality and safety standards, and collaborates closely with engineering and product development to validate turbine performance.
Lead and oversee multi-shift turbine calibration and dyno testing teams to achieve operational excellence.
Develop and implement strategic testing plans, protocols, and procedures to support advanced turbine development.
Ensure compliance with automotive industry quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to optimize testing accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering, R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to analyze test data and resolve complex technical issues.
Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement for testing equipment and lab facilities.
Mentor and develop supervisors, engineers, and technicians to build a high-performing test organization.
Oversee documentation, reporting, and communication of test results to senior management and stakeholders.
Champion a culture of safety, quality, and innovation across all testing operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
7+ years in turbine calibration, dyno testing, or automotive testing environments, with 3+ years in a leadership role
Proven success managing complex test programs and diverse multi-shift teams
Expert knowledge of turbine calibration methodologies, dyno testing systems, and data analysis techniques
Strong experience with testing equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements
