We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Turbine Assembly Technician to lead and execute the complex mechanical assembly and build-up of turbine engines. This senior role requires deep technical expertise, leadership in process execution, quality assurance, and mentoring capabilities to support the continuous development of the assembly team and ensure strict adherence to engineering standards.
Lead the assembly and integration of turbine engine modules and components, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Perform complex assembly tasks including precision fitting, alignment, torqueing, safety wiring, and functional adjustments on critical turbine parts.
Interpret and apply detailed engineering drawings, assembly manuals, and torque charts accurately.
Conduct in-depth inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve assembly issues proactively.
Oversee documentation accuracy including build records, traceability logs, and non-conformance reports.
Mentor and train junior and mid-level technicians to enhance their technical skills and assembly knowledge.
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, and logistics teams to resolve production challenges and implement process improvements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes, tools, and work practices.
Ensure all assembly activities comply with applicable industry standards such as AS9100, ISO, and OEM requirements.
Take ownership of safety standards and promote a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency within the team.

Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Technology.
8+ years of hands-on experience in turbine engine or complex mechanical assembly environments.
Expertise in interpreting complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and torque specifications.
Proficient in the use of precision tools, torque equipment, alignment instruments, and inspection devices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement corrective actions independently.
Experience leading or mentoring assembly teams in a high-mix, high-precision manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of aerospace or industrial gas turbine OEM standards (e.g., GE, Rolls-Royce, Siemens).
Familiarity with quality management systems such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
Commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement, and team collaboration.
Prior leadership role in turbine assembly or aerospace manufacturing.
Experience with ERP systems and electronic work instructions.
Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related process improvement methodologies.
Understanding of FAA, EASA, or other regulatory requirements (if aerospace-focused).
