Job Title: Training & Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Training & Development Manager to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs that support employee growth and organizational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying training needs, developing learning strategies, and fostering a culture of continuous development across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess organizational training needs through surveys, interviews, performance reviews, and consultation with stakeholders.

  • Design and deliver engaging learning and development programs, including workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job training.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make improvements based on feedback and performance outcomes.

  • Collaborate with department heads and HR teams to align training plans with business goals and skill requirements.

  • Manage external training vendors, budgets, and contracts to ensure cost-effective program delivery.

  • Develop leadership development programs, succession planning strategies, and career path frameworks.

  • Promote a learning culture by implementing mentoring, coaching, and knowledge-sharing programs.

  • Stay updated with industry best practices, technologies, and tools to enhance training delivery.

  • Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain training records for compliance and reporting.

  • Technical skills enhancement and role-specific training

  • Training evaluation and return on investment (ROI) analysis

  • Talent development and succession planning

  • E-learning systems and digital learning integration

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

  • 5–8 years of experience in learning and development, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or leadership role

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methods

  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training tools

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Ability to measure and report training effectiveness using data and analytics

  • Relevant certifications such as CPLP, SHRM-CP, or CIPD (L&D pathway) are a plus
