The Senior Supervisor – Thermal Valve Assembly is responsible for leading and optimizing the entire thermal valve assembly function, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and delivery standards. The role requires in-depth technical expertise in thermal valve assembly (pressure relief, temperature control, safety valves) and strong leadership to drive productivity, process improvements, and team performance across shifts.
Lead, coordinate, and monitor complete thermal valve assembly operations including sub-assembly, final assembly, and testing readiness.
Review and interpret complex engineering drawings, BOMs, process sheets, and torque specifications.
Ensure correct sequence and techniques in spring setting, stem/spindle alignment, sealing surface assembly, and torque application.
Plan, allocate, and monitor manpower across shifts to meet production deadlines and customer delivery schedules.
Lead resolution of on-floor technical and quality-related issues in coordination with QA/QC and engineering teams.
Drive compliance with Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), ITPs, and customer specifications.
Supervise documentation and traceability for assembly records, torque charts, rework logs, and operator checklists.
Coordinate closely with the testing, painting, and dispatch departments to streamline post-assembly workflow.
Identify areas of process inefficiencies and lead implementation of lean practices and continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S).
Lead safety initiatives and ensure strict compliance with workplace safety and equipment handling protocols.
Train and mentor mid-level supervisors and technicians to upgrade skills and process knowledge.
