The Thermal Valve Assembly Supervisor (Mid Level) is responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspects of thermal valve assembly operations, including sub-assembly, final assembly, and pre-dispatch inspection. This role ensures adherence to technical specifications, production schedules, and quality standards. The supervisor also plays a key role in operator training, process improvement, and interdepartmental coordination.
Lead and oversee assembly of various thermal valves, including pressure relief, temperature control, and safety valves.
Plan and allocate manpower and resources to meet daily and weekly production targets.
Ensure proper interpretation and implementation of engineering drawings, work instructions, and bill of materials (BOM).
Supervise fitting, spring setting, torque tightening, sealing arrangements, and other critical assembly steps.
Conduct in-process inspections and ensure that all valves meet functional and dimensional requirements.
Coordinate with quality control for inspection and testing, and address any non-conformance or rework issues.
Maintain documentation including assembly checklists, torque logs, traceability reports, and production records.
Monitor assembly tool calibration, fixture readiness, and maintenance schedules.
Enforce safety standards, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Train new operators and ensure proper skill development within the team.
