We are seeking a capable and analytical Mid-Level Thermal Control Valve Systems Engineer to support the development, validation, and optimization of thermal control valves within thermal management systems. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to ensure performance, reliability, and integration of valves into complex thermal environments such as engine cooling, EV thermal networks, or HVAC systems.
Design and develop thermal control valves (thermostatic, electrically actuated, pressure-sensitive, etc.) for fluid and thermal systems.
Support system-level thermal design, including fluid dynamics and heat transfer integration.
Perform engineering analysis including pressure drop, flow performance, valve response time, and thermal expansion.
Develop and maintain CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation.
Assist in test planning, data collection, and analysis for validation and durability testing (DVP&R).
Collaborate with controls, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and manufacturability.
Contribute to DFMEA, risk assessments, and design reviews.
