    • Develop detailed test plans and procedures to evaluate the functionality and reliability of aerospace products.
    • Ensure that test setups are compliant with industry standards (e.g., FAA, MIL-SPEC, ISO) and that tests are conducted safely and accurately.
  2. Data Collection and Analysis:

    • Collect and analyze test data, ensuring that all test results are documented clearly and accurately.
    • Use data analysis tools such as MATLAB, Excel, or specialized software to interpret and assess test results.
    • Identify anomalies, discrepancies, or failures during testing, and work with senior engineers to resolve issues or implement design changes.
  3. Test Equipment Management:

    • Operate and maintain test equipment, including vibration shakers, thermal chambers, pressure rigs, and data acquisition systems, ensuring they are calibrated and ready for testing.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test equipment, collaborating with the equipment maintenance team as needed.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methodologies or improvements in test equipment.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with design engineers, systems engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure the successful integration of tested components into larger systems and ensure compliance with performance specifications.
    • Provide feedback and insights from test results to help improve design and manufacturing processes.
    • Participate in design reviews and technical meetings to offer input on testing requirements and challenges.
  5. Test Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare detailed test reports, including test objectives, methods, results, and analysis, for internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure that test documentation is clear, organized, and in compliance with regulatory and quality assurance standards.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior engineers and project managers, providing insights for design optimization or corrective actions.
  6. Mentoring and Training:

    • Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians in performing tests, data analysis, and test equipment operation.
    • Provide technical guidance and training to new team members, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in aerospace testing.
    • Review the work of junior engineers and provide constructive feedback to ensure high standards of testing accuracy and reliability.
  7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, procedures, and test setups to enhance testing efficiency, reliability, and accuracy.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline testing processes and reduce testing time while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
    • Stay up to date with advancements in aerospace testing technologies, materials, and industry standards, and incorporate them into testing practices.
