The Territory Sales Manager – Mechanical Business Development is responsible for driving sales and business growth within an assigned geographic area, focusing on mechanical solutions such as pumps, valves, HVAC systems, turbines, fabrication services, and industrial equipment. This role involves customer acquisition, key account management, project tracking, and collaboration with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to industrial clients.
Achieve territory sales targets across mechanical product/service lines.
Identify new opportunities through client visits, market research, and lead generation.
Promote the full mechanical solutions portfolio to contractors, consultants, EPCs, and end users.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Provide technical and commercial support during sales cycles and after project award.
Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Map and prioritize key accounts, active projects, and competitor activities within the territory.
Track projects from concept to award stage and position company offerings accordingly.
Maintain accurate CRM records and territory reports.
Work with internal application engineers, service teams, and proposal departments to prepare technical-commercial offers.
Liaise with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and support.
Provide weekly/monthly updates on sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and market feedback.
Monitor competitor moves and contribute to pricing and strategy discussions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
5–8 years of mechanical sales or business development experience in a B2B/industrial environment
Knowledge of mechanical systems such as pumps, HVAC, compressors, turbines, or fabrication solutions
Experience dealing with industrial clients (e.g., oil & gas, power, manufacturing, water)
Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication
Project tracking and CRM proficiency
Technical aptitude with mechanical products
Target-oriented mindset and field sales experience
