Job Summary
The Telecom Infrastructure Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of telecom infrastructure specialists and ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and optimization of telecom systems. This role involves both leadership and hands-on technical expertise to ensure high-quality service delivery. The supervisor will play a critical role in managing projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve operational excellence in telecom infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of telecom infrastructure specialists, providing technical guidance and ensuring work is performed according to industry standards.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of telecom infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless, and copper systems.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Provide technical expertise to the team for troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all telecom infrastructure work.
- Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and regular reports on team productivity and network performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training to staff.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Strong technical expertise in telecom infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless networks, and IP routing.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for telecom systems and network issues.
- Knowledge of network security protocols and industry best practices.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or telecom-specific areas are a plus.
